Recent market assessments from OPIS indicate that the European solar market may be entering a new phase after an extended period of price compression and industry-wide margin pressure.


The latest data suggests that solar module prices in Europe are stabilizing and gradually recovering, while demand patterns are evolving toward integrated energy solutions that combine photovoltaic generation and storage.

According to the latest spot price assessment, the average DDP price for utility-scale TOPCon modules (≥600W) delivered to Europe reached approximately €0.103/W, representing a 3% week-on-week increase.


For residential-scale products, the EXW Rotterdam price for TOPCon modules rose to around €0.108/W, marking a 1.89% increase compared with the previous week.


More importantly, when viewed over a slightly longer horizon, price movement becomes more apparent. Since January 2026, European module prices have increased by:


~10% for large-format modules used in utility-scale projects

~12% for smaller modules typically used in rooftop systems


The stronger increase in rooftop module pricing suggests robust distributed-generation demand, particularly in residential and commercial segments.


While price levels remain historically low compared with earlier market cycles, the data indicates that Europe may be establishing a new price floor for solar modules.
