Qn-SOLAR: Progressing Towards BNEF Tier 1 with a 6MW PV Project in Bulgaria
January 3 , 2025 | 1444
In 2025, we are still making steady progress with our application for the BNEF Tier 1 Solar Module Manufacturer list. We’re excited to announce the development of the second project in Bulgaria – the 6MW ground-mounted photovoltaic project. Scheduled to be grid-connected by mid-2025, this initiative will contribute to Bulgaria’s transition to renewable energy while strengthening our footprint in Europe.
QNN182-HG585-72) which are built to last, boasting exceptional load-bearing capacity and robust construction. Whether installed on commercial & industrial rooftops or ground mounting systems, rest assured that our panels will withstand the test of time, providing enduring performance any environment, showcasing a solid efficiency of 22.65%, ensuring optimal energy output for the Bulgarian grid.
Currently, we have reached 15GW of installed capacity across multiple regions, backed by four manufacturing bases in China. We continue to push the envelope with innovative technologies that enhance solar performance and contribute to the global energy transition. Recently, our manufacturing processes were featured in an interview with Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF), highlighting our state-of-the-art automation and production capabilities. The innovative technologies and high-efficiency modules we produce are integral to powering this and other projects, driving the global transition to clean energy.
In parallel, local governments are enhancing efforts to support renewable energy. Under the REPowerEU plan, Bulgaria will receive over €480 million to invest in clean energy infrastructure, promoting energy diversification and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This investment aligns with Bulgaria’s national goals of decarbonizing its industry, improving energy efficiency, and aiding small businesses impacted by high energy prices.
Bulgaria’s energy transition is gaining further momentum through initiatives like the Eastern European energy interconnection project discussed at COP29 in Baku, backed by eight countries. These efforts will ensure more renewable energy integration and energy price reductions in this region.
As we progresses towards BNEF Tier 1 recognition, we remain dedicated to advancing clean energy worldwide. By focusing on innovation and impactful projects, we are helping shape a sustainable, zero-carbon future for generations to come.
Stay tuned for more updates on our ongoing projects and exciting developments as we continue to expand our global impact!
